Recommendation:
As always investigate what you can trade in at JB Hi-Fi including any trade bait options which might be available. However it seems $79 is the best retail price for PC and $89 for console, simply go and pick it up for those prices.

I was just in Dick Smith Neutral Bay to check they were getting stock on Friday. Their computer said the price is $89.74 not $84.74 as above. |

yeah i think Anthony made a typo because notice how he places it in order from cheapest to most expensive and Dick Smith is below both JB Hifi and K-mart ($89) |

Harvey Norman have it for $99, plus you can theoretically use their 110% price match guarantee (Buy it, find a cheaper price within 30 days, get 110% of the difference in price) |

Release date broken - just traded 3 cheap games I bought at Dick Smith for it at te JB HIFI in the Brisbane CBD :D |

I brought 3 cheap games in DSE for $50 earlier in the DSE sale, traded in for fable 2 at JB, then traded fable 2 earlier in the week towards WOW Lich King preorder in EB for $95.7 with Edge Card + extra $10 giftcard, Total 105.70 trade value.
Paid off the lich king ($60) then used the left over credits to price match DSE for dark messiah ($20) and Star Trek ($15) and brought pre-owned copy of Fight Night 3 (16.15 with edge), then traded the games for Fallout 3 today.
So, I basically spend 55.45 for Lich King AND Fallout 3 (Xbox360). YES!!!!! |

Oh, by the way i picked up Halo 3 for $15 at my local Cash Converters, Muhahahaha, it has been a good week. |

So I went to get Fallout 3 from Dick Smith Neutral Bay today after work, around 5pm. They got the game from out the back but couldn't sell it to me because it was still "Quarantined" in their system. The guy tried to call head office, but the manager who would be able to unlock it had gone.
Given it's a central database presumably NO DSE could sell this game today. Also I don't know if the lock will still be there until Monday when Head Office is back at work??
Anyway, ended up picking it up at JB in the city instead.. I suppose I saved 74c!  |
