Not to be confused with our recent Civilization IV: Colonization competition (which is still running so you should check it out), the Civilization Revolution competition has finally been drawn. The judges this time all had different picks so the final winner was chosen at random (random.org) from the entries that received judge votes.

We asked people to describe or picture for us the "ultimate army". All of our entries were fictional this time (can't say we expected otherwise). We'll let the entires speak for themselves, if you have an opinion or want to discuss the entires we encourage you to submit a comment.

TargetOO	Pikemen with a batch of loaded die. Woody Allen once said success was 80% just showing up. Any experienced Civ player will also testify to this fact. Pikemen have always been a staple of Civ games, and its always been the case that they can defeat a tank or two late game it sufficiently defended or lucky. When my pikemen are attacked they will throw down their dice (my only knowledge of war is though computer games so I'm guessing this is how it works) and win every time.
PlasmaDavid	The ultimate army consists of Captain Falcon, for that initial armored punch, a Dragon (Charizard variety) with a super enhanced GFed trooper riding him, leading in an entire HORZION of planes. Then to consolidate the enemy positions after the BOMBARDMENT, a lone Zangoose. WINNER TAKES ALL!
Sein	I'd have Julius Caesar as my leader, my army would be the Clones from Star Wars and armoury from the Terminators.
