Please forgive my extreme tardiness. For those of you who still remember almost a month ago we closed a competition for a copy of Civilization IV: Colonization. The time has finally come to announce the winner.
Congratulations Todd Hunter, also known as toddhunter or his win.
In the competition we asked "Who would you take with you to begin a new civilization?" and limited entrants to a maximum of 10 individuals. Attractive women was the prevailing theme, as was a good sense of humour. To check out the entrants read the full article.

EB Games sent out a newsletter last night with a competition for Gears of War 2. Apparently they have hidden some cogs around both retail stores and their website. Start searching for a chance to win a T-shirt signed by Cliffy B, some unlock code and a GoW2 COG.

Not to be confused with our recent Civilization IV: Colonization competition (which is still running so you should check it out), the Civilization Revolution competition has finally been drawn. The judges this time all had different picks so the final winner was chosen at random (random.org) from the entries that received judge votes.

Its time to give away that copy of Top Spin 3 for Nintendo DS which 2K Games was kind enough to send us. We asked members to illustrate the 'ultimate location for a tennis court', using whatever skills they had. Unfortunately we had to choose one winner, which was difficult since second place was a damn fine entry.
